	Meals on Wheels of Piqua provides nutritious, hot lunches Monday through Friday to residents of Piqua who are unable to provide for themselves due to age, illness or injury. Meals are individually prepared by UVMC Nutritional Services to the specifications of each client’s needs and can accommodate special needs such as diabetic, renal, low sodium, high fiber, etc.
ELIGIBILITY:	Clients must show need for the service and live within the city limits.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED:	None—the client’s physician will be contacted to provide necessary diet information.
RESTRICTIONS:	Residence must be within Piqua city limits.
HOW TO USE:	Call to set up appointment for initial interview with Client Coordinator.
FEE POLICY:	Meal cost is $3.75 per meal. This can be paid per week or monthly payments can be arranged. Limited meal assistance is available for those with severe financial need.
