Court-Based Advocacy and Assistance

Alternatives (ADULT MALE), an anger/rage control education program for adult males. FEE BASED


Held on Mondays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Shelter.
Held on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Shelter.
Held on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shelter
Held on Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. located at 120 W. Water Street in Sidney.
This is a twelve-week program dealing with interpersonal communication, problem solving, anger control techniques, self-esteem, love/trust issues, family sculpting, and audio visual projects.

Alternatives (ADULT FEMALE) an anger/rage control education program for adult females. FEE BASED


Held on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shelter.
This is a twelve-week program dealing with interpersonal communication, problem solving, anger control techniques, self-esteem, love/trust issues, family sculpting, and audio visual projects.

ELIGIBILITY:Confidential Shelter and Advocacy Services.

The services are offered to adult women and their children in Miami
County who are physically and emotionally abused or to women
and their children who are homeless and have no place to stay
in emergency situations.

Shelter and Advocacy Services to adult single males in Miami County who have no place to stay in emergency situations.

Battered Women's Self-Esteem Support Group Adult Females.

The Creative Play Group is available for children ages 6 to 12.

None. (If applying for public assistance while at Shelter, please bring birth certificates, social security numbers, marriage license, and other official documents for all persons to be sheltered.)

REQUIREMENTS:All Programs: Must be free of drugs and alcohol.

Confidential Shelter and Advocacy Services and Shelter and Advocacy services:
Must also sign confidential intake paperwork, and follow Shelter rules and regulations.

Alternatives participants must also be willing to learn.
