General Services: Free information, pamphlets, guidance, educational programs, and referral services for cancer patients and families.

Patient Services: Assist cancer patients in locating needed resources. Available 24 hours, 7 days a week at 888-227-6446.

Speakers available for public and professional education at no charge.

Educational/Support Programs:

"Reach to Recovery" program available to all mastectomy patients.

"I Can Cope" an educational program available for persons with cancer, their family and friends.

Man to Man, a support and educational group for men with prostate cancer.

Look Good…Feel Better, a hair and cosmetic session to teach women coping techniques for appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy.


Tell A Friend, a program designed to help women get mammograms.

Patient Navigator. This American Cancer Society employee offers services to help cancer patients navigate through the financial, emotional and other resource-related issues. Robin Supinger is housed in Upper Valley Medical Center. Her office number is 888-227-6446 x8070.

ELIGIBILITY:Cancer patient or family member needing services

DOCUMENTS NEEDED:Patient gives permission for physician's diagnosis available to the American Cancer Society.
