 | SafeHaven is a consumer-operated peer center for adults with mental illness to receive educational, social, and vocational service opportunities in a safe and comfortable environment towards mental health recovery. While participation is voluntary, members are encouraged to attend the structured schedule of classes including WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan), BRIDGES, Peer Support, GED, Computer Classes, Life Skills, Arts and Crafts, Music, Creative Writing, Focus Groups, Bingo and Games, Movies, and many more.
Weekend and special weekly activities consist of special social activities including shopping trips, fairs, festivals, theater movies, games. picnics, concerts, parties, and more. Holidays and birthdays are also celebrated. Members receive incentives, encouragement, and prizes, and all are respected in our home-away-from home, family environment.
