· All classrooms have teachers with education degrees.
· All classrooms use a research based educational curriculum and developmental screening tools, with parent online access.
· Accepts children with special needs

· Provides Choosy Kids© health and nutrition program
· Parent participation encouraged
QUALITY CHILD CARE - Birth to 12 years old
· Full Day sessions: Monday through Friday
· Private pay and subsidized payments accepted
EARLY HEAD START CENTER BASED – Birth to 3 years
old and pregnant women
· Full Day sessions: Monday through Friday
· To qualify for program, must meet federal income guidelines
· Accepts children with special needs; income requirements waived
· Family social service support
· Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack using an infant/toddler menu
HEAD START CENTER BASED – Aged 3 to 5 years old
· Half day sessions: Monday through Thursday
· To qualify must meet federal income guidelines
· Children with special needs included; income requirements waived
· Transportation available
· Adult/child ratio: 10 children to 1 staff person
· 17 children per classroom
· Lunch, breakfast and/or afternoon snack
· Family social service support
PUBLIC PRESCHOOL CENTER BASED – Aged 3 to 5 years old
· Half day sessions: Monday through Thursday
· To qualify must meet federal income guidelines, with nominal fee according to state guidelines
· Children with special needs included; income requirements waived
· Lunch, breakfast and/or afternoon snack
· Transportation not included
· Family social service support

HOME BASED
OPTION INCLUDES: | EARLY HEAD START HOME BASED – Birth to 3 years old
and pregnant women
HEAD START HOME BASED – Aged 3 to 5 years old
SERVICE AREA: Rural areas of Miami County
· Home visitors with education degrees
· To qualify must meet federal income guidelines
· Children with special needs included; income requirements waived
· Home Visitor meets with parent and child or pregnant woman weekly in home
· Child and parent attend two group socializations per month
· Research based educational curriculum with developmental screenings
